Established in 2025, Aisteach Press is an independent literary journal dedicated to championing new voices in Irish literature.

Aisteach is the Irish word for queer, bizarre, or outlandish. Aisteach, to us, embodies anything strange or off-kilter, anything that demands a second puzzled glance, anything that can inspire both wonder and fear in one fell swoop.

Co-founded by a group of booksellers in Dublin who are starving for the weird, Aisteach works to provide a space for new, strange voices in the Irish literature scene.
